Bioinformatics & NGS

In addition to generating Next Generation Sequencing data for both short and long reads, our team provides in-depth bioinformatics analyses tailored to each project. We use the latest statistics and machine learning techniques to answer biological questions. Although our primary role in bioinformatics involves analysis of sequencing data, we also work with other types of data generated by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, infrared microscopy, electron microscopy and toxicological data.

Study and analysis design – Providing advice on factors such as biological and technical replicates and depth of sequencing coverage to ensure that results obtained are statistically meaningful.

Analysis – Finding importance in biological data using bioinformatics tools and developing our solutions as well. It includes identifying SNPs, biomarker prediction, analyzing differentially expressed gene, metabolic pathways analyses and assembling genomes/metagenomes.

Visualization-standard graphics to present our analysis.

A blend: Having both wet- and dry-lab expertise in next generation sequencing technology and high-end, scientifically accurate genetic analysis gives our team the highest level of scientific support when collaborating with partners and stakeholders.

One of our core aims here at the NXT Informatica is to find new ways to improve biological standards and research by optimizing the sequencing process.

Next-generation sequencing

Next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology applications enable us to determine the precise order of nucleotides within DNA/RNA molecules. The discovery of modern sequencing technologies have made the identification of nucleic acid sequences an essential and common practice for all areas of biological science. Bioinformatics analysis, which interprets raw omics data into answers for a specific purpose/question, is crucial to this field. Bioinformatics tools combine statistical methods and programmatic languages to interpret biological information at the molecular, cellular, and genomic levels. NGS and bioinformatics have proven to be essential for diagnostics, medical, epidemiological and public health animal health research. Our team of scientists provides one-stop support for all of your experiments, from project design to analysis.
