Bioinformatics & NGS

In addition to generating Next Generation Sequencing data for both short and long reads, our team provides in-depth bioinformatics analyses tailored to each project. We use the latest statistics and machine learning techniques to answer biological questions. Although our primary role in bioinformatics involves analysis of sequencing data, we also work with other types of data generated by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, infrared microscopy, electron microscopy and toxicological data.

Study and analysis design – Providing advice on factors such as biological and technical replicates and depth of sequencing coverage to ensure that results obtained are statistically meaningful.

Analysis – Finding importance in biological data using bioinformatics tools and developing our solutions as well. It includes identifying SNPs, biomarker prediction, analyzing differentially expressed gene, metabolic pathways analyses and assembling genomes/metagenomes.
